Simplicity to the extreme.
With minimal functionality, the aesthetic and structure are kept as simple as ever. Its simplicity and attention to detail characterize the e.n.a. chair.
Targeting co-creation spaces that require stylish solutions, e.n.a. was born from our collaboration with ITO Design where the goal was to create a chair that could represent Okamura's existing lineup. ITO Design is a German design firm that has produced a variety of furniture designs and received numerous design awards. To create a classic look, particular emphasis was placed on achieving the appearance of seamless unity between the shell and pipe leg frame.
The backrest shell, seat and frame are formed from one single piece of resin, giving ena a sense of unity.
The softly curved shape of the back holds the body gently in the chair
With its gradual curve, the seat shell provides excellent comfort.
Up to three chairs can be stacked flat. Seat back covers protect the seat surfaces from damage during stacking.
The design also takes ease of stacking and carrying into consideration.
